Ingredients Found in the Proprietary Blend:
DMAE Bitartrate- DMAE is thought to work by increasing production of acetylcholine (Ach), a neurotransmitter that’s crucial for helping nerve cells send signals. Ach helps regulate many functions controlled by the brain, including REM sleep, muscle contractions, and pain responses. DMAE may also help prevent the buildup of a substance called beta-amyloid in the brain. Too much beta-amyloid has been linked to age-related decline and memory loss. DMAE’s impact on Ach production and beta-amyloid buildup may make it beneficial for brain health, especially as we age.
Glutamine- One of the most important functions of glutamine is its role in the immune system. It is a critical fuel source for immune cells, including white blood cells and certain intestinal cells
Glutamic Acid- Glutamic acid is an amino acid used to form proteins. In the body it turns into glutamate. This is a chemical that helps nerve cells in the brain send and receive information from other cells. It may be involved in learning and memory
Green Tea Extract- The antioxidants in green tea extract, especially EGCG, have been shown to protect brain cells from oxidative stress. This protection can help reduce brain damage that could lead to mental decline and brain diseases like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and dementia
Bacopa Extract- Bacopa might increase certain brain chemicals that are involved in thinking, learning, and memory. Some research suggests that it might also protect brain cells from chemicals involved in Alzheimer disease.
Choline- Choline helps with DNA synthesis. Choline and other vitamins, such as B12 and folate, help with a process that’s important for DNA synthesis. A healthy nervous system: This nutrient is required to make acetylcholine, an important neurotransmitter. It’s involved in memory, muscle movement, regulating heartbeat and other basic functions.
Inositol- Inositol might balance certain chemicals in the body to possibly help with mental conditions such as panic disorder, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine- Supplementing with tyrosine is thought to increase levels of the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline and norepinephrine. By increasing these neurotransmitters, it may help improve memory and performance in stressful situations.
Bilberry Fruit Extract- One 2-year study in people with glaucoma, a condition that leads to a gradual loss of sight, found that taking 120 mg of bilberry anthocyanins daily improved visual function by around 30%, whereas the placebo group experienced worsened visual function. Other studies suggest that supplementing with 160–480 mg of powdered bilberry extract daily may reduce eye dryness and other symptoms of eye fatigue caused by working with video display terminals.
GABA- a naturally occurring amino acid that works as a neurotransmitter in your brain. Neurotransmitters function as chemical messengers. GABA is considered an inhibitory neurotransmitter because it blocks, or inhibits, certain brain signals and decreases activity in your nervous system.
Grape Seed Extract- GSE is one of the best-known sources of proanthocyanidins. Due to its high antioxidant content, GSE can help prevent disease and protect against oxidative stress, tissue damage, and inflammation
Grapefruit Seed Extract- The polyphenol naringin is found in very high concentrations in grapefruit seeds. In fact, it’s what gives grapefruit its bitter taste. Naringin has strong antioxidant abilities and has been found to protect tissues against radiation damage in mice.
Olive Leaf- The antioxidants in olive leaf extract are mainly polyphenols. Scientists believe these plant-based nutrients play a role in preventing conditions like cognitive decline, cancer, and osteoporosis.
Olive leaf also contains a uniquely powerful polyphenol called oleuropein. Studies show that in addition to its antioxidant activity, oleuropein has anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antimicrobial effects. These properties point to research-backed health benefits like improved cardiovascular function.
Cinnamon Bark Extract- Aids in supplement and nutrient uptake in the body.
Licorice Root Extract- Licorice root may have potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects. Early research suggests that, as a result, it may ease upper respiratory infections, treat ulcers, and aid digestion, among other benefits.
Boron- Boron seems to affect the way the body handles other minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus
DHA 14%- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega-3 fatty acid essential for brain development during pregnancy and early childhood. It is also linked to improved heart health, better vision, and reduced inflammatory response.
Vanadyl Sulfate 19%- vanadyl sulfate exerted antioxidant effects and consequently may prevent brain damage
Phosphatidylserine 20%- Phosphatidylserine is a fatty substance called a phospholipid. It covers and protects the cells in your brain and carries messages between them. Phosphatidylserine plays an important role in keeping your mind and memory sharp.
Huperzine A- Huperzine A is used to improve memory and mental function in people with Alzheimer disease or other types of dementia.
